Learn More About MeProfessor Felicia Nnenna Ene was born in Amofiagu Affa, Udi Local Government Area of Enugu State, Nigeria, to the family of Chief Mathias Ngwunecheibe (Chinenyeze 1 of Affa) and Chief Mrs. Cecilia Nwanyinkwo Odigbo.
She holds a PhD in English Language Education, a Master’s degree in English, another in Guidance and Counselling, and a first degree in English Language Education. Her academic journey began with an NCE (Nigerian Certificate in Education) in English Language and Geography at Alvan Ikoku College of Education.
For over 30 years, she has contributed significantly to Nigeria's education system, teaching English Language and Literature, and holding various leadership positions, including Principal and Supervising Principal.
Professor Ene's academic career spans multiple institutions, including Godfrey Okoye University, where she currently serves as a Professor of Education and Head of the Department of Arts Education. Her professional journey also includes roles at Ebonyi State University, Enugu State College of Education, and the National Teachers’ Institute.
Beyond teaching, she has authored over 12 books, 36 journal articles, and attended more than 60 conferences and workshops. She is an active member of several professional organizations and has contributed to curriculum development, planning, and education committees.
